Hello, and welcome.

I am a Métis woman from Treaty 6 territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation (Saskatchewan), shaped by family, place, and story. I’m the daughter of Ralph and Donna, a mother, a partner, and someone who believes deeply in the power of stories to shape how we live and lead.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked as a social entrepreneur, leadership coach, and professional speaker, living and working across Canada and around the world. I’ve founded and co-founded mission-driven organizations — including Live Different, Brave Soles, and Whole Human Collective — each grounded in a belief that awareness, care, and responsibility belong together.

Through speaking, storytelling, and reflection, I help leaders recognize the patterns shaping their lives and leadership — and open space for clarity, connection, and choice. My work invites people to slow down, see more clearly, and lead from a place of wholeness rather than performance.

Beyond titles and roles, I am someone whose life has been shaped by both deep joy and profound loss. I know firsthand that the stories we tell ourselves matter — because they shape how we show up, how we lead others, and the future we help create.

I now call Toronto, Canada “home” but the world my co-working space ;)

With grace and passion, Christal took to our virtual stage overflowing with charisma, and she presented for nearly an hour her incredible personal story of adversity and resiliency.

If you are considering Christal for your next event, you will be guaranteed a stellar presentation and speaker. She is a commensurate professional from the booking process through the big event and beyond to post-event discussions.
